A sustainable future for everyone is a fundamental concern we don’t take lightly. And our ambitions are high. We want to make a positive and lasting impact on people, society and our planet. Not only because we feel obliged to do so, but because we really believe it is necessary and something we owe to future generations. To us, the pronoun we isn’t just a friendlier way to refer to the company. We mean all of us who work at Elfa. Sustainability is not owned by one function or role; it needs to be part of how we work across the organisation. The formal responsibilities are clear: the Board of Directors is responsible for this sustainability report, and the CEO has overall responsibility for the company and its sustainability work. But in practice, progress is shaped by the decisions we all make – in our roles, in our priorities and in our day-to-day work. Therefore, to support us in this responsibility, we have developed a set of policies and principles that help us navigate what is right and what is wrong in our day-to-day decisions. The most important of these are: n The ten principles of the UN Global Compact n The 17 Sustainable Development Goals n Elfa’s Code of Conduct n Elfa’s environmental policy n Elfa’s work environment policy n Elfa’s policy on human rights n Elfa’s policy on diversity, equality and inclusion And these are not paper products. To live up to our high ambitions, sustainability has been fully inte - grated into Elfa’s business strategy. Our strategic processes are designed to ensure that sustainabili - ty concerns are integral in all decision-making. Either are these empty words. In this report, we summarise activities and progress made during the fiscal year 2025. We have taken concrete action and intend to continue doing so. 5
