Stakeholders include employees, customers, shareholders, external parties with whom we have contracts, and the communities in which we work. External parties include joint venture partners, subcontractors, suppliers, intermediaries, consultants and other parties with whom we have a contractual relationship to provide goods or services. For you this means nn You act with integrity and fairness in all your dealings with our stakeholders, who you always treat in a professional and respectful manner nn You ensure that the Supplier Code is part of our contractual agreements with external parties nn You work with external parties to ensure that they understand our ethical standards before entering any relationships with them nn You actively listen to our customers and make sure that you understand their needs and expectations PRODUCT COMPLIANCE Elfa products are designed, manufactured, marketed, and sold to comply with applicable legal requirements and our internal quality and safety standards. Compliance is essen- tial to build trust in our products leading to success for us and for our customers. For you this means nn Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal stan- dards, including those related to emissions, safety, hazardous substances and noise nn If you design new products or change existing products, ensure they meet regulatory and legal standards at product introduction and for as long as required nn Do not tamper with tests or test results nn Don’t take shortcuts or make decisions that compromise product compli- ance – regardless of the likelihood of detection by authorities or manage- ment nn Present our products and services accurately.
