The variants offered differ in the language of the instructions. DE ASE 412 160 00 000 EN ASE 412 160 00 023 The VAS 852 003 is required for damage diagnosis of CFRP components. Using ultrasound, it tests the structure of the material and makes potential damage areas visible on a computer connected via USB. For testing larger areas (e.g. cracks), the template VAS 852 003/1 can be used. ASE 852 003 70 000 The VAS 5102A can be used to check if chipped paint is the result of a quality defect or excessive mechanical stress, such as stone chipping. The test is based on the simulation of the average stress encountered in everyday road traffic and caused by high-speed impact with low-mass objects (sand / grit). ASE 434 010 01 000 Paint thickness tester VAS 6197 Paint thickness tester VAS 6272 Paint thickness tester VAS 5278 The VAS 6197 with LCD display has two independently functioning probes for the measurement of non-magnetic layers on steel or iron as well as all isolating layers on non-ferrous metals such as aluminium and copper. Calibration is not necessary thanks to the Hall sensor technology. The measuring range for both sensors is 0 – 5,000 µm. The VAS 6272 is a combined tester for damage-free paint thickness measurement on steel / iron or non-ferrous metals. The ergonomically shaped tester with integrated measuring probe and simple operation permits measurement with the highest accuracy. The measuring range is infinitely from 0 – 3,500 µm. The VAS 5278 allows precise and damage-free paint thickness measurement on steel / iron or non-ferrous metals. The electronic tester with LCD digital display indicates the measurement data according to selection via the menu. The measuring range is infinitely variable from 0 – 5,000 µm or 0 – 200 mils. AUTONOMOUS MEASURING AND TESTING TECHNOLOGY BRAKES AND RUNNING GEAR Brake servo tester VAS 6721 The testing options of the VAS 6721 include the measurement of the vacuum values of a brake servo system, leak testing of the system as well as localisation of leaks in the system and system pipework for possible blockages. The pressure gauge of quality class 1.6 with protective housing has a display rage of 0 – 1,000 mbar. The hand vacuum pump VAS 6213 can be used via inlet B of the VAS 6721 of the brake servo testing system to subject the brake servo system in a vehicle to vacuum pressure. Recommended accessories + Hand vacuum pump VAS 6213 (ASE 403 100 00 000) Tester for brake pressure regulator V.A.G 1310A The brake pressure regulator controls the braking force ratio between the front and rear axle in proportion to the load. To check or adjust this component, the V.A.G 1310A is absolutely essential. Two pressure gauges with a measuring range of 0 – 250 bar mounted on a stand are connected to the front-axle and rear-axle brake system by means of adapters. The braking force is indicated on the pressure gauges via two thin, flexible, high-pressure hoses. As the pressure gauges can be removed, the device is also suitable for testing and adjustment work in the inspection pit. With the VAS 6813, it is possible to assess the state of wear at these test points in a simple manner without removing the brake disc. The integrated laser facilitates precise positioning and the housing complies with protection rating IP54. ASE 485 200 00 000 The VAS 6668 enables digital brake disc measurement and checking for warping with the use of a dial gauge. The brake disc calliper has a measuring range of 0 – 50 mm, the dial gauge from 0 – 10 mm. Both testers have an accuracy of 0.01 mm. ASE 469 750 00 000 Brake disc vernier gauge made of stainless steel hardened steel for determining measured values on brake discs. The measuring range of the VAS 6343 is between 0 and 60 mm.
