BUSINESS ETHICS As a global company Vikan’s code of conduct is in compliance with the requirements of the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code. At Vikan, we want our Sustainability performance to meet the highest standards. We are a member of Sedex and fully comply to the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) requirements within labour, health and safety, environment, and business ethics. This is regularly audited by third party auditors. We require our suppliers to apply the same code of conduct as we do. All Vikan activities are compliant with current laws, regulations, administra- tive practises and applicable standards on the markets we operate. We value our reputation for high ethical behaviour and for financial probity and reliability within our organisation and in the cooperation with all business partners. Vikan has responsible and transparent tax behaviour. Vikan does not tolerate any form of harassment or bullying and has zero tolerance toward any form of bribery or corruption. We engage only in business relations that are fair and that are not anti-competitive. We do not contribute to any political party, and charitable donations are given based on decisions made by our management and owners.
