Teddy Bear Hospital The first in-person Teddy Bear Hospital since before the pandemic took place recently in the Trinity Sport centre. This interactive and educational event raised money for charity while making hospital more BEAR-able for kids and teddies alike. Organised by the TCD Paediatrics Society, doctors of the future provided medical care to teddy bears in aid of BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance. The aim of the event was to promote the foundations of a healthy lifestyle by removing the fear around going to the doctor or dentist, by performing a check up on Teddy, allowing children to become comfortable with the different sights, sounds and equipment used in hospital and medical settings. The day was a great success thanks to the TCD Paediatrics Society and over 100 medical & health student volunteers who graduated 150 young Teddy Doctors.
