introduction nsible trade Environment Health People We have focused on responsible palm oil and deforestation We have launched our action plan for responsible palm oil. In addition, we have developed a policy on deforestation, which sets out clear ambitions for how we will avoid illegal deforestation in our supply chains. We continue our work to bring the foods we sell closer to the consumer We have entered into new agreements with Dan- ish producers, and we ensure that our customers can come out and see how the food we sell in our stores is produced. At the same time, we have continued to disseminate knowledge about food and the problems we encounter. Cocoa is one of the raw materials that we have a special focus on in our work with responsible supply chains. • In addition, we will use the experience we have gained through the mapping of our suppliers to work further with the requirements for cer- tifications and documentation we place on our suppliers. • At the same time, we will continue our great work in bringing the food closer to the custom- ers, so that they can gain a better insight and understanding of the food they eat and how it is produced. – We will subject our suppliers to greater require- ments for certifications and documentation in the hope that we can make our global and complex supply chains more transparent.
