Outwell has the answers… W hen it comes to designing a family tent we consider all aspects to meet and exceed expectations. This starts with ideas we get from our own experience and that of Outwell family campers and our retailers. A good example of such engagement is our Active Collection of vehicle awnings. The rapidly growing trend for camping from small utility vehicles, SUVs and campervans requires a new generation of awning and our Active collection draws on our technical heritage to fulfil the need for rapidly pitched shelters that add valuable living space. Our latest awnings certainly have tremendous appeal! There is a lot of hard work to bring such ideas to the market. We work closely with material manufacturers to develop our own fabrics and source the best accessories that go into a tent’s construction. It is also central to developing an innovative feature. As an idea turns to reality, we start to subject our new tents and awnings to extreme conditions, including time spent in our unique wind and rain test facilities.
