Letter from our CEO GreenMind ESG Report 2022/23 A year of transformation When I took on the position as CEO of Greenmind in 2022 I was given the responsibility for the transition of Greenmind after the merger with BlueCity in early 2022. I was humbled with the task ahead and the implied challenges. No more striving “to win the sprints” (entrepreneurial mindset), but to focus on “winning the marathon” in close cooperation with our customers (long term commitment mindset). Further, to complete the task of a digital transformation, going from a legacy based system to a cutting-edge ERP solution. This implied severe difficult discussions, choices, change of culture and mindset – and heavy investments and momentarily defocus of running the business profitably. From the board to the management and throughout the organization – all mindset needed to change. The discussions have been massive and the process challenging and more costly than expected. But the results (finally), even better than expected. The transition is now complete Hence, I owe a huge thanks to my colleagues for their great efforts. To my board for continued support and believe in the “new GreenMind” path and not least financial backup for the costly transition. The core of GreenMind is continuously to prolong the lifespan of electronics and thereby enable people and businesses to make a more sustainable choice and future for us all. When our customers choose to buy GreenMind electronics instead of buying new ones, there is less carbon emissions and less electronic waste generated. It is our goal to make the effects and advantages of reuse even more obvious – to make the choice even easier. But we also need documentation for our customers’ demands.
