Executive Order on Routing of Power Cables and Water Pipes ( Bekendtgørelse om føring af elkabler og vandrør ) Pursuant to § 3, para. 1, no. 3, § 3, para. 3, § 6, para. 1, no. 3, § 6, para. 2, and § 36, para. 2, in Act no. 401 of 28 April 2014 on the authorization of companies in the electrical, water, heat and sanitation and sewage installation area it is determined: Routing of electrical cables § 1. A person who has completed a course approved by the Danish Safety Technology Authority on routing electrical cables and can present this course certificate, or has completed a training program approved by the Danish Safety Technology Authority, may route electrical cables that are covered by the authorisation requirement, without connecting and assembling the electrical cables, irrespective that the person is associated with an authorised electrical installation company. Para. 2 The course or training program, see 1, must train the power line installer to install the cables correctly so that they are not damaged, provide the power line installer with knowledge of cable types, measures to limit the spread of fire, electrical documentation, including electrical technical drawings such as installation blueprints and cable lists, and suitable equipment. The course or training programme must also train the power line installer to select cable types and materials based on the documentation presented. § 2. Connection, inspection and testing of installations where the power cables are routed in accordance with section 1 must be carried out by an authorised electrical installation company that has undertaken to carry out the connection. The authorised electrical installation company that undertakes to carry out the connection assumes responsibility/liability for the entire installation to the owner (user). Para. 2 The authorised electrical installation company that carries out the connection can require the power line installer to present documentation of a completed course or training programme, see § 1, and that the power line installer presents a declaration that the cable work has been carried in compliance with regulations. Routing of water pipes § 3. A person who has completed a course approved by the Danish Safety Technology Authority on routing water pipes and can present this course certificate, or has completed a training program approved by the Danish Safety Technology Authority, may route water pipes that are covered by the authorisation requirement, without connecting and assembling the pipes, irrespective of the person being associated with an authorised water, heat and sanitation installation company. Para. 2 The course or training programme, see 1, must train the pipe fitter to attach the pipes correctly so that they are not damaged, equip the pipe fitter with knowledge of cable types, limiting the spread of fire, documentation and suitable equipment. The course or training programme must also train the pipe fitter to select pipe types and materials based on the documentation presented. § 4. Connection, inspection and testing of installations where the water pipes are routed in accordance with section 3 must be carried out by an authorised water, heat and sanitation installation company that has undertaken to carry out the connection. The authorised water, heat and sanitation installation company that undertakes to carry out the connection assumes responsibility/liability for the entire installation to the owner (user).
