We are steadily taking steps in the right direc- tion. Maybe needless to say, but these turbu- lent and uncertain times don’t make our efforts any easier. But we stand by our commitments and are making progress. And this report is our proud testimony to how far we have come during the fiscal year 2022. Of all the sustainability targets we set for the period running over the last two fiscal years, we completed all but one. Was it only for that one target we couldn’t fulfil? It was really out of our hands. But enough on that for the time being, you’ll get all the facts in due time. For now, I’m more than proud of the results Elfa has achieved. If this report isn’t proof enough of the value of our achievements, perhaps the assessment of EcoVadis is? In 2022, Elfa was awarded a silver medal for ranking among the 25% best-performing companies. Let’s instead look ahead. As we are closing the measuring of targets for the last two fiscal years, it’s high time to reveal our targets for the coming two fiscal years. We have defined targets for 2025 and 2030, and I can already feel how hard-earned they will be. We will focus even more on measuring the performance and progress of our actions. If we want to reverse climate change before 2030, the entire industry needs to step up and start making giant leaps. And personally, I would really want our proud Elfa to earn that golden medal from EcoVadis. Isn’t that part of the fun, the challenge? It isn’t real gold, of course. That wouldn’t be very sus- tainable, would it? But until then, let’s carry on with the report for fiscal year 2022. It’s a good read, I promise. Anders Rothstein CEO, Elfa Group 2
