MAINTENANCE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS CLEANING TIPS FOR BASKETS AND INTERIOR COMPONENTS After cleaning with a suitable synthetic cleaning agent, wipe with a damp cloth to prevent static electricity. Crystal oil, acetone, and similar agents must not be used, as they can damage plastic components. CLEANING TIPS FOR MIRRORS If dirt or stains appear on the mirror surface, first use a glass cleaner. If this does not help, you may use a razor blade or steel wool (NOTE: only steel wool — not Scotch- Brite or similar products.) The glass will not be scratched by either a razor blade or steel wool. CLEANING TIPS FOR PAINTED SURFACES Clean with mild household cleaning agents. NEVER use scouring powders, steel wool, or similar products that con- tain abrasives, or cleaning agents containing ammonia. CLEANING TIPS FOR LACQUERED WOOD SUR- FACES Veneered and solid wood surfaces are more or less po- rous. Therefore, use water sparingly when cleaning. Use a slightly damp cloth and wipe afterwards with a well-wrung cloth. Suitable cleaning agents are the same as those used for painted surfaces. Never use thinner to remove stains. CLEANING TIPS FOR LAMINATE AND MELAMINE SURFACES Clean using common household cleaning agents, just as you would for painted and lacquered surfaces. Substances that may cause discoloration or corrosion (such as iodine, hydrogen peroxide, ink, mineral acids, etc.) should of course be avoided. CLEANING TIPS FOR OILED SURFACES Oiled surfaces should not be treated with additional oil for maintenance. Clean with a damp cloth, possibly with a small amount of mild soap solution, and then dry the surfaces thoroughly. 10 Y EA RS OF GUA RANTEED SATISFACTION Daily use of your storage system exposes it to consider- able wear and tear, which requires craftsmanship and raw materials of the highest quality to ensure long-lasting durability.
