Food and Agriculture Organization reports that U.S. forest area increased by 18 million acres since 1973. 3 According to the AF&PA, the water used in paper manufacturing is recycled up to 10 times before being cleaned to strict standards. Roughly 90% is then returned to its source. 5 The U.S. EPA attributes less than 0.6% of total U.S. greenhouse gas emissions to the Paper Industry.
