Dinex diesel exhaust after treatment catalyst components All You Need From Turbo To Tailpipe going the extra mile DOC Coating The latest generation Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC) from Dinex is based on a high thermal stable wash coat formulation with low CO and THC light off and high NO 2 formation. The design of the wash coat and the Pt:Pd ratio at the inlet and outlet zones of the DOC is done based on the application requirements, i.e. it can be designed for passive regeneration only as well as for high frequency of active regenerations. This wash coat concept is available on metallic and ceramic substrates. DPF Substrate & Coating The CHP-SiC 5/6 and CHP-SiC-K05/06 is a robust silicon carbide filter substrate based on a special reaction forming process patented by Dinex. It has a moderate back pressure increase under soot loading and has the same soot load level than conventional filters based on R-SiC or SiSiC. The recently developed CHP-SiC-K05 is available in small pore sizes of 9 – 11µm and a porosity level of 54% which ensure high filtration efficiencies at very low soot load level. The CHP-SiC-K06 is available at a porosity of 65% to accommodate high wash coat loadings for SCR on DPF applications. It is designed to work under passive as well as active regeneration conditions, and the applicable coating is available also for Cordierite substrates with similar characteristics. SCR Coating A wide variety of catalyst compositions based on vandia as well on zeolites is available for all possible tem- perature and application ranges. The premium solution for EU-VI applications is based on a new, thermal stabilized Cu-zeolite composition which shows a high DeNO X performance at low temperatures and a high thermal durability. For off-road applications a Fe- β -zeolite solution is available. For future applications new recently developed compositions of a non-zeolite based wash coat can be offered. Combinations of these different catalyst compositions are available for special 2-stage SCR applications dedicated to meet the low NO X emission targets of Euro VII including N 2 O and NH 3 . F-SCR The integration of SCR function into the DPF is a widely used technology for Stage V applications and now also in discussion for 2-stage SCR applications for future low NO X targets. The high porous CHP SiC-K06 with a porosity level of 65% is used for these F-SCR applications. Special modification of the Cu and Fe-zeolite based SCR catalysts are used in these special filters. The coating can also be applied to Cordierite DPFs. Dinex.net
