A Letter from our CEO At Botle Buhle Brands, our vision is rooted in growth through quality empowerment. Quality guides the products we offer, the systems we develop, and the support we provide. We aim to empower people not just by creating opportunities, but by encouraging them to take ownership of their success and sustain it through consistent effort. As a family-owned business, we value community-driven principles that foster connection and belonging, making our work meaningful. These values are central to our purpose: to change people's lives for the best. Our business is grounded on the principle of balancing our purpose with our profits, and to grow and further increase our impact on the communities in which we operate. We aspire to make a difference and our purpose keeps us focused on this ideal. We proudly embrace our purpose in our day-to-day operations and employ an impact-oriented approach to make sure that our strategic decisions will not only benefit our business but also increase the impact towards the communities we serve, our customers, our sales force and our employees – without whom this business would not be possible. The year 2023 marked significant growth and progress for our business, driven by our commitment to impacting people. Reflecting on 2023, we are proud to recognise that we managed to expand our sales force to more than 36,000 sales people, giving them the opportunity to start earning an income and change their lives. As we have expanded, we have come to recognise that we need BBB to grow further in order to achieve our goal of creating even more opportunities for marginalised communities in Africa. This is why our objective for the next few years is to increase our operations in additional countries, such as Zambia, Uganda, Tanzania & Kenya and enlarge our presence in Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia. We are also going to expand the range of products in our catalogue to include a digital offering. As we evolve and respond to societal needs, we remain deeply committed to our vision of empowering individ- uals. Collectively, we are on a journey towards continued growth - for us as a company and for our Sales Force. Our roots run deep in African soil, entwined to provide strength and stability. It is this strength that powers us, pulls us together, and will ensure we continue to create meaningful, positive change.
