5 • Certifications Certifications Responsible products are increasingly valued. The products in this catalogue include features such as ‘recycled’ and ‘upcycled’. These features are supported by globally recognised sustainability certifications. FSC® - Forest Stewardship Council FSC® stands for Forest Stewardship Council, a voluntary certification that demonstrates that the wood and bamboo used for our products come from sustainable and responsible forest management. Forests are verified and certified by an independent party and products from these forests can be sold as FSC®-certified. Every chain in the supply chain of these products must be certified. This way we can be sure that the products are in fact from sustainable forest management. GRS – Global Recycled Standard Products certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) contain recycled content that has been (independently) verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product. In addition, certified organizations have met social, environmental, and chemical requirements. The purchase of Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified products demonstrates demand for recycled content and best processing practices in the supply chain. RCS - Recycled Claim Standard Products certified to the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) contain recycled content that has been (independently) verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product. The purchase of Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) certified products demonstrates demand for recycled content. Products certified to the Recycled Claim Standard 100 (RCS 100) contain at least 95% certified recycled content. Products certified to the Recycled Claim Standard Blended (RCS Blended) contain between 5-94% certified recycled content. GOTS – Global Organic Textile Standard This standard is international and voluntary and sets requirements for third-party certification of organically grown material, Chain of Custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions. It is an internationally recognized certification standard for textiles, clothing and fibres made from organically produced natural fibres. Products that meet the GOTS standard are recognized as organically and sustainably produced. Collection 2025

Overview of materials • 6 Overview of materials Waste material Waste as the basis for new business gifts Coffee grounds, apple pulp, and recycled milk cartons are given a second life as materials for new products. For instance, coffee grounds can be used to produce reusable drinking cups, while apple pulp serves as the basis for stylish laptop sleeves, for example. Used milk cartons are processed into practical notebooks. This reuse process shows how leftover materials gain new value, finding meaningful application in everyday products. Recycled material A second life for used products tRecycled material plays an important role in reducing waste and saving resources. Materials such as plastic bottles and old textiles are processed and transformed into new products, such as RPET items, bags and towels. This process helps reduce waste and promotes a circular economy, where resources go through multiple life cycles before being replaced. Natural material The power of natural materials tNatural and bio-based materials are increasingly used as alternatives to traditional plastics. Examples include organic cotton, bamboo, cork, and jute, which are found in products like bags, cutting boards, and kitchen accessories. Additionally, bio-based materials made from starch, sugars, and cellulose, as well as agricultural and organic waste like corn or sugarcane remnants, are used. These materials offer a more sustainable alternative to non-renewable resources. Recycled stainless steel A strong choice with impact Recycled stainless steel (SS) is stainless steel made from recycled metals, usually from old stainless-steel products, such as kitchenware and appliances. A recycling process allows these valuable materials to be reused, reducing the need for new raw materials. Products made from recycled stainless steel have a long lifespan. They are hygienic, easy to clean and resistant to corrosion, making them ideal for everyday use. Recycled abs The popularity of recycled ABS Recycled ABS is a material produced by collecting and processing used ABS plastic products. ABS is found in products such as toys, electronics and car parts. Recycled ABS is produced by sorting and cleaning used ABS products, melting them and transforming them into new products.
